Information for Parents and Carers – Children's NHS Dental Services
Temporary Changes to NHS Children's Dental Services
We understand that many parents and carers may be concerned about recent changes affecting NHS dental services for children in our area. The Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB), which commissions NHS dental services, has informed us that our NHS children's dental contract will end on 30 June 2026. This means that we can no longer see NHS Children until a new provider has been procured, there may be a temporary gap in the availability of NHS children's dental appointments through our practice.
Important Information
This decision has been made by the Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) and is not related to the quality of care provided by our practice or our dental team. We remain committed to supporting our patients and families during this period and understand the inconvenience and uncertainty this may cause.
