Three Years, Thousands of Smiles — And It’s All Thanks to You
Three Years, Thousands of Smiles — And It’s All Thanks to You
As we reach the end of May, we’ve taken a moment to reflect — and what an incredible journey it has been. Over the past three years, much has changed. However, one thing has remained a constant source of strength and inspiration: your loyalty, your trust, and your continued support.
Thanks to you — our valued patients — we have gone from strength to strength. We are now not only proudly continuing our work in Belton, but have also expanded to welcome patients in the communities of Brigg and Market Rasen. During this time, we have had the privilege of registering over 2,500 new patients and providing urgent care through more than 1,500 emergency and pain-relief appointments.
At our Belton practice, we have grown from two surgeries to three, enabling us to care for more patients with greater efficiency — while maintaining the personalised attention we are known for. We also listened to your feedback regarding parking, and we are pleased to confirm that our car park has now been extended, making your visits more convenient. We are currently planning further refurbishments in Belton to enhance your experience even more in the near future.
You have embraced new faces, remained loyal to our trusted team, and supported us through each stage of our journey. We are proud to say that we have grown together, and we could not have done it without you.
As we continue to evolve, we are delighted to offer an expanded range of treatments, including dental implants, sedation for nervous patients, and access to cutting-edge equipment and specialist interests across our dental team. Our clinicians are continually developing their skills to ensure we deliver the highest standard of modern dental care to our patients.
We are equally proud of our dental nurses and trainee nurses, who play an essential role in patient care. Many of our team are actively progressing through further qualifications, gaining new competencies, and building their professional knowledge. Their commitment to growth and excellence ensures a supportive, knowledgeable, and compassionate environment for every patient who walks through our doors.
We are also pleased to have introduced online booking at our Riverside Brigg and Market Rasen branches, this will also be active in the Belton Branch soon, offering greater flexibility and ease when arranging your appointments. While our NHS children’s contract at Riverside Brigg is currently at full capacity, we remain hopeful that we will be able to increase our NHS provision in the future.
Beyond the clinic, our team have taken on some remarkable challenges — including climbing (and conquering!) Ben Nevis and cycling from London to Scafell Pike in the Lake District — all in support of local causes that are close to our hearts and will no doubt have other challenges in the pipe line for the future.
None of this would have been possible without you. Your kind reviews, thoughtful recommendations, and steadfast support mean the world to us. Whether you are a long-standing patient or new to the practice, we are truly grateful to each and every one of you.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for growing with us.
Here’s to the next chapter: smiling, thriving, and continuing to build a stronger, healthier community — together.💙
Take Two: Willows Team Conquers Ben Nevis!
The Willows Dental team conquers Ben Nevis on their second attempt—amazing views, great teamwork, and an unforgettable summit adventure!
With brighter skies and better weather finally on our side, some of the Willows team laced up their boots once again and set their sights on Ben Nevis—this time determined to reach the summit. And guess what? Mission accomplished! Well done Vishal, Annie, Jayesh, Priscilla, Danni and Kaye!!
After a previous attempt where the mountain (and the weather) had other plans, this second climb was all about resilience, teamwork, and breathtaking views. As the team made their way up the UK's highest peak, nature put on a stunning show—clear blue skies, rolling green valleys, and a horizon that stretched for miles.
There were moments of challenge, plenty of laughter, and a whole lot of encouragement passed between team members. From rocky paths to sweeping vistas, the trail offered something beautiful at every turn. And when the summit finally came into view, the sense of achievement was unforgettable.
A huge well done to everyone who took part—you pushed through, stuck together, and stood on top of Scotland with smiles all round. Here's to many more adventures, and maybe even bigger climbs in the future!
Please remember, no matter where the adventure. Take your toothbrush! (We had to add, a couple of photos from the first attempt too :-))
Scroll down for some epic photos from the day—we promise the views are worth it!
Happy Halloween and Healthy Smiles
Here are some dental tips for keeping your children's teeth healthy this Halloween:
Choose Wisely: Opt for sweets that are less sticky and sugary. Chocolates tend to be better than gummy sweets, which can cling to teeth and cause decay.
Moderation is Key: Set limits on how much sweets they can have each day. Enjoying treats in moderation can help prevent tooth decay.
Brush After Treats: Encourage your children to brush their teeth after eating sweets. This helps remove sugars and prevents plaque build-up.
Rinse with Water: If brushing isn’t an option right away, have them rinse their mouth with water after eating treats to help wash away sugars.
Healthy Alternatives: Consider providing healthier snacks and treats, like fruit or nuts, alongside the sweet haul.
Dental Check-Up: Schedule regular dental check-up to catch any potential issues early.
Create a Sweet Plan: Some families have a "sweet exchange" where kids can trade in some sweets for a small toy or a fun activity.
With these tips, you can help ensure your little ones enjoy Halloween while keeping their smiles bright!
Kick Off Stoptober with Willows Dental: A Healthier Smile Awaits!
At Willows Dental Practice, we’re excited to support Stoptober, the annual campaign encouraging people to quit smoking for 28 days this October. We all know the benefits of quitting for overall health, but did you know how much it can improve your oral health?
Smoking has a range of negative effects on your mouth. It increases the risk of gum disease, tooth decay, and even oral cancer. On top of that, it leads to stained teeth, persistent bad breath, and can slow down healing after dental procedures. Quitting smoking can significantly reduce these risks and improve the health and appearance of your smile.
This Stoptober, why not take the opportunity to quit smoking and protect your teeth and gums? Even after 28 days, the benefits will be noticeable—not just for your health but for your smile too!
At Willows Dental, we’re here to support you through your Stoptober journey. Whether you're thinking about quitting or need advice on how to maintain a healthier smile, our team is ready to help. Book a check-up with us, and we can guide you on the dental benefits of quitting smoking and how to keep your smile looking its best.
Make this Stoptober the start of a healthier, brighter smile. Your future self will thank you!
